The History of Dreads
Made popular by the Rastafarians, a religious group origination on the island of Jamaica, they actually date back even further in history. European cultures have documetation of Druids wearing sacred loc’s to battle, as well as Roman coins bearing dreadlocked hair. Dreads have been embraced by virtually every culture and religious belief.
Today locs have been labeled as “being a hippie”, having a carefree and spiritual lifestyle, and being someone that cares about reducing the carbon footprint.
As in most lifestyle choices there are extremists who believe that dreads should only form naturally...and actually paying for maintenance a vulgar crime. Peace be with you.
I rock my locs from clean base to end and offer services as a Loctician to those who share the same philosophy.

All New Same Day Locs
Prepped, back combed, crocheted and finished off with Dollylocs Tightening Spray. Average time: 3-4 hours, depending on length and abundance and size of the individual loc desired.
Please come in with clean, dry hair.
$75 PER HOUR
Dread Perm
Service is offered prior to initial placement. Designed for straight, silky hair with at least 6 inches of hair. Average time: 2 hours, more for longer hair.

General Maintenance
Arrive with clean hair, or allow us to pamper you with a shampoo and blow dry. Your locs will be renewed by flipping, latching and/or crocheted, depending on hair texture or desire. Finished with earth friendly products - we carry the full line of Dolly Locks hair products.

Dreadlock Removal
Your journey does not have to end with your head shaved, but, you will need patience and time. Depending on what length you want to end up with, estimate 4-8 hours.
